Group Fundraising.

Has most of you will know we are a registered charity and have to constantly raise monies to keep the group running. The childrens subscriptions cover things like yearly capitation, cost of badges, materials for activities and some external activities.

The group fund raising is for the running costs of the scout hut such as the lease of the building, building insurance, liability insurance, electric & water bills, repair & improvement costs to name a few.

We have 3 main schemes going at the moment-


1= The annual Plant Sale (our main income) we send out order forms for this.



2= Rag Bag which is the recycling of old clothes, blankets, shoes, belts, handbags, curtains etc etc. Just send your unwanted items down to the hut or we will collect.



3= Mobile Phone recycle, again we would like your unwanted or broken mobile phones, digi cameras or mpg players.
